Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

If you need help urgently, please call us.  Although we may occasionally be able to accommodate a walk-in appointment for a pregnancy test, that cannot be guaranteed.  All other visits require advanced scheduling, though same-day appointments may be available.

Call 770-719-2288, text 770-892-6105 during regular business hours, or fill out our online form to schedule a convenient appointment.

How much will my appointment cost?

All of our services are offered at no cost to you.

What Should I Bring To My Appointment?

We ask that you bring a photo ID to your appointment.

How Soon Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

Although you may be anxious, it is best to schedule an appointment once you have missed your period for the most accurate results. It usually takes about 28-31 days from your last period for hCG to be present in your system. A positive result will detect the pregnancy hormone, hCG, in your urine.

Is my appointment confidential?

Yes.  All of your test results and our discussions are entirely confidential.

Can You Help Me Explore My Options?

Yes.  We offer peer counseling to help you explore the options regarding your pregnancy (abortion*adoptionparenting) and to make an informed decision.

*Although we recognize that women have the right to make their own decision regarding their pregnancy, Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center does not provide or refer for abortions.
